Welcome To RCT Homes, An Introduction By Andrew Lycett, Chief Executive
Thank you for your interest in RCT Homes, an exciting new venture established to deliver high quality homes and services to the communities in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
I know from personal experience that joining a team early in the life of a new organisation provides the best challenges and rewards as the pace of change is swift and improvements can be achieved more quickly.
The Transfer Offer Document (see below) made very ambitious promises for improvements to homes, environments and services. But this is only a part of the transformation we have in our sights. We are looking for people who will share our Vision - helping us to deliver the best homes and highest quality services for our tenants. We recognise that we will only achieve our Vision if we work in partnership with our tenants and service users and, crucially, we must develop and empower our staff to be able to lead the process of change.
As RCT Homes is a relatively new organisation, we recognise that you will want to know more about our aspirations and intentions as an employer. This section is intended to provide more information on some of the important aspects of our terms and conditions and future employment policies and practices.

Tenants voted in faviour of transferring the ownership and management of their homes to RCT Homes based on the promises made in this document, which was drawn up by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council in 2006.
